Yours was the most helpful I have seen. I'm going old school with a 40 channel soundcraft gb8 (yeah I know it's over kill) but this board fell in my lap at a price I couldn't pass up. NOW I've played in bands for years and using a mixer in these settings are not that complicated. BUT a recording studio goes to a whole new level, routing, tps, ts, computer softwear, effect loops, vst's. The cabling cost a fortune, and where to house it(a building) etc. Oh and my Interface. Putting this all together on a vid would be killer, THANKS

Brand new to your channel, but am very thankful for all you said in this video. Wow, you said a lot of what I've been going through for years. Won't bore you with details, but this is actually one of the best spent 7 minutes I've seen - for me personally. Why? I'm a Christian singer/songwriter who's heart is to write/record/share my own songs, but I find that the need for leading worship (singing everyone else's songs) has always been there, because it's a need that's always needed to be filled. So, enough said, in that, although I'm very thankful for leading worship, and Lord willing, I'll always do some of it in music ministry, but this thing in me of wanting to focus on my own songs (hundred of them) is, just like you, gnawing at me. So, I apologize for being more lengthy than I intended, but to be honest, you were an answer to prayer because you said exactly what I've felt/thought for years, but sometimes can be a tough decision to make (the redirecting, the pivot, &c). Stepping out in uncertain/uncharted waters can be scary, but I know will be well worth it. Great stuff you're sharing! Just discovered your channel, like... 30 minutes ago, and I've really enjoyed the few that I've seen. God bless you, and hope you have a great rest of 2024!

This was great. Trying to make my set up similar- multi-purpose studio (creative/writing space, quickly recording the scratch track, then the rest of the recording/mixing, &c. flow). Your set up makes a lot of sense for the creative process which is really cool. Thanks for putting this on here. Was a great reminder for me. God bless you.
